Download File 1. DM74LS74A — Dual Positive-Edge-Triggered D Flip-Flops

This device contains two independent positive-edge-triggered D flip-flops with complementary outputs. The information on the D input is accepted by the flip-flops on the positive going edge of the clock pulse. The triggering occurs at a voltage level and is not directly related to the transition time of the rising edge of the clock.

The data on the D input may be changed while the clock is LOW or HIGH without affecting the outputs as long as the data setup and hold times are not violated. A low logic level on the preset or clear inputs will set or reset the outputs regardless of the logic levels of the other inputs.

The MC74HC574A is identical in pinout to the LS574. The device inputs are compatible with standard CMOS outputs; with pull-up resistors, they are compatible with LSTTL outputs.

The 3-STATE outputs are capable of driving 15 LS-TTL loads. All inputs are protected from damage due to static discharge by internal diodes to VCC and ground.

The SN54/74LS377 is an 8-bit register built using advanced Low Power Schottky technology. This register consists of eight D-type flip-flops with a buffered common clock and a buffered common clock enable.

The SN54/74LS378 is a 6-Bit Register with a buffered common enable. This device is similar to the SN54/74LS174, but with common Enable rather than common Master Reset.

The SN54/74LS379 is a 4-Bit Register with buffered common Enable. This device is similar to the SN54/74LS175 but features the common Enable rather then common Master Reset.
